Daily Selah Moment A Hard Heart Stop and spend a few moments in reflection. Ezekiel 10:19 "I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh." This is the first known description of atherosclerosis, sometimes called hardening of the arteries. We live a life with a divided heart. My daughter regularly asks me "do you love it with your whole heart, or just with half a heart." She is teasing me but behind those teasing words is a serious concept. That which we love with our whole heart controls our day-to-day actions. If we love our own creature comforts the most we will spend our time on making ourselves feel good. But if we love God with our whole heart we will be better able to make wise lifestyle choices. We will exercise our body so we can better serve Him. We will choose healthy foods so that we can better serve Him. We will spend time along with Him because we love Him with our whole heart. What do you love with your whole heart? If it is unhealthy food, today is the day to make some changes in your life.
